All four classes at O's kindergarten wore different costumes and went trick or treating the Friday before Halloween. As the art teacher I helped the older kids make their costumes (monsters, spiders and pumpkins) but had a wonderful surprise to see my little black cat walk down the stairs.

HALLOWEEN
Every year a few very dedicated Moms in Hiroshima throw a kids Halloween party in a neighborhood park. It has become quite legendary so I was excited to whip together a costume for Baby O and head along.
Wow! It was quite amazing. O was a bit little to join in all the pinata hitting, apple bobbing, donut eating fun but had a good run around none the less.
I was happy with how the Oscar the Grouch (get it..?) outfit turned out so it was a shame it was too stinking hot to wear all day.
Can't wait until next year!
